SCOUTCare is a comprehensive training, certification and communications program designed to support facilities in their adoption of the SAVI SCOUT® Radar Breast Localization System for wire-free breast tumor localization.

The SCOUTCare program supports a facility’s mission of “moving beyond wires” through the adoption of SCOUT® to help reduce operating room costs, improve operational efficiency and reduce stress for women who are going through one of the most difficult times in their life. SCOUTCare provides multi-modality training for radiologists, surgeons and allied health professionals, including customized implementation planning, certification of clinical team and facility, coding and reimbursement guidance as well as a patient assistance program. The program also shares best practices from hospitals across the country that have successfully implemented their wire-free program.

Members of the St. Vincent breast team gathered at the breast center yesterday to celebrate their certification as a SAVI SCOUT Wire-Free Provider and the official launch of SCOUTCare in their facility. Congratulations St. Vincent Carmel on your commitment to offering a wire-free experience to the women in your community!
