On March 4, Methodist Healthcare hosted its first in a series of Twittercasts focusing on women's health services. The Twittercast featured the SAVI applicator and followed a patient throughout the entire process, including placement, treatment fractions and removal.

"People are spending three times as much time on social media sites now as they were a year ago," said Jill Fazakerly, director of marketing with Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare Inc.
