Jill Anderson
President and Chief Executive Officer
As President and CEO of Cianna Medical, Ms. Anderson has more than two decades of experience as a medical device and healthcare industry executive. She previously served as President of BioLucent, Inc. There, she oversaw the rapid sales growth of the MammoPad breast cushion and BioLucent's ascendant profile in women's healthcare, through the company's acquisition by Hologic, Inc., in 2007. Prior to joining BioLucent, she served as Vice President, Oncology Services for Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network, a premier teaching hospital and multi-health care network in northeastern Pennsylvania, generating $1 billion in net revenue. As Vice President of Salick Health Care, Ms. Anderson led the company's entry into the New York market and was responsible for developing a network of comprehensive cancer centers through unique partnerships with major academic and community-based medical centers.
Ms. Anderson also serves on the Board of Directors of Solis Women's Health. She received a B.A. in Finance and M.B.A. from Temple University.
Christopher F. Serocke
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Serocke serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Cianna Medical, the same position he held at BioLucent, Inc. starting with the company's inception in July 2000 until its acquisition by Hologic in 2007. Prior to joining BioLucent, he spent 23 years with Baxter Healthcare, advancing to positions such as Vice President, Custom Products Business for the Bentley Division; Vice President of Global Operations for the Cardiovascular Group; and General Manager for the Baxter Cardiopulmonary Business worldwide. From 1992 to 1998, Mr. Serocke also served on the Baxter Environmental Review Board and on the Baxter Manufacturing Council, which coordinated manufacturing initiatives across all of Baxter's businesses.
Mr. Serocke currently serves as Chairman on the Board of Trustees of the Pacific South Coast Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. He received his Bachelor's degree in management engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.
Hugh A. Neuharth
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Neuharth is the company's Chief Financial Officer. He also serves as Chief Financial and Operating Officer for a start-up incubator, also based in Southern California. Prior to this, Mr. Neuharth worked with Smith & Nephew PLC, a FTSE-100 medical device company, for nearly 11 years, most recently as Director, Corporate Change Programs and Finance (Regional Board Director/Senior VP/Regional CFO) of Smith & Nephew's Australasia Region based in Melbourne, Australia.
Mr. Neuharth holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from Loma Linda University and earned his CPA while with Ernst & Whinney (now Ernst & Young).
James B. Stubbs, Ph.D
Chief Science Officer
Dr. Stubbs is the company's Chief Science Officer. Prior to joining Cianna, Dr. Stubbs spent 10 years at Proxima Therapeutics, Inc. in a variety of roles, eventually becoming Chief Research Scientist of Cytyc Surgical Products following the acquisition of Proxima by Cytyc Corp in 2005. As Director and VP of Scientific Affairs, he was responsible for the medical physics group supporting customer use of the company's brachytherapy devices as well as scientific publications related to company technology. As Proxima's Chief Technology Officer, he expanded the company's IP portfolio via patent filings and acquisitions and performed technical due diligence on potential new technologies and competitive products. Dr. Stubbs has extensive experience with research, product development and clinical applications in the brachytherapy field. He has coauthored dozens of peer-reviewed scientific articles in the brachytherapy and radiopharmaceutical fields.
Dr. Stubbs received his B.S. in Nuclear Engineering at the University of Florida. He earned both his M.S. and Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering at the University of Virginia.
Eduardo Chi Sing
Vice President of Research & Development
Mr. Chi Sing has more than 20 years of engineering and operations experience in the medical device industry. He led the development and commercialization of the SAVI applicator Platform Technology as Director of Research and Development at BioLucent, Inc. Previously, Mr. Chi Sing served as Director of Research and Development at SUB-Q, Inc., where he was responsible for the planning and execution of new product development programs and strategies; and as VP of Operations at Applied Medical Resources Corp., where he coordinated operational activities for the manufacturing, materials flow, engineering support, documentation and facilities groups.
Mr. Chi Sing received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering at the University of California, San Diego.
Gary Mocnik
Vice President of Quality Assurance/Regulatory Affairs
Mr. Mocnik is the VP of Quality Assurance/Regulatory Affairs for Cianna Medical. He has over 20 years of experience in developing and implementing Quality Systems, regulatory strategies and submissions, and assuring Regulatory Compliance for companies in the medical device, diagnostic and pharmaceutical industries. Prior to Cianna Medical, Mr. Mocnik served as the VP of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Systems for Refractec, Inc.; the Director of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance at Neurocare Group; and held senior management positions at other major medical device companies, including Birtcher Medical Systems and Allergan Medical Optics.
Mr. Mocnik received B.S. degrees in Engineering and Applied Science from UCLA and Mechanical Engineering from Cal State Long Beach.
Charles Bracken
Vice President of Sales, Eastern U.S.
Mr. Bracken previously served as Vice President of Sales for BioLucent, Inc., until the company's acquisition by Hologic, Inc. in 2007. Prior to joining BioLucent, Mr. Bracken worked for Wyeth Consumer Healthcare in a variety of positions. As National Retail Sales Manager, he managed and directed the retail sales team and broker networks responsible for $1.6 billion in retail sales. As Area Sales Manager, Mr. Bracken was responsible for over $41 million in direct sales and managed a team of eight account managers and the broker network in the Mid-Atlantic region. He has extensive experience developing and leading high performance sales teams.
Mr. Bracken earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Temple University.
Scott Long
Vice President of Sales, Western U.S.
Mr. Long has more than 25 years of experience in sales, sales management, and senior sales leadership positions within the medical device industry. Most recently, he served as President of Landmark Women's Health in Dallas, Texas. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Sales and Vice President of New Business Development at Sanarus Medical, where he developed a $1 million nationwide revenue base and successfully raised $15 million from the venture capital community. Mr. Long also played integral management roles at SenoRx and Biopsys Medical, which was successfully acquired by Johnson and Johnson in 1997. In addition to Mr. Long's extensive experience in the breast care field, he has also held sales and sales management positions with Scimed Life Systems, St. Jude Medical, and Baxter Healthcare.
Mr. Long earned his B.S. in Marketing from Indiana University.
Brian Driscoll
Vice President of Marketing
Mr. Driscoll is the Vice President of Marketing for Cianna Medical, the same position he held at BioLucent, Inc. until the company's acquisition by Hologic, Inc. in 2007. He has over 15 years experience in the development, sales and marketing of medical devices. Mr. Driscoll's previous experience includes serving as Senior Product Manager of Interpore Cross International, a leading manufacturer of biologic and spinal implants. Prior to that, he held various sales and marketing positions at other medical devices manufacturers, such as Silipos and Innovations Sports.
Mr. Driscoll earned his B.S. in Health Education from the University of Cincinnati.
